We are Chang Family Floristry. A locally owned Minnesota floral boutique.

Chang Family Floristry is passionate in our love for floristry and design, and we promise to deliver quality flowers and design in each of our arrangements.

Our Story:
Chang Family Floristry’s story has its’ humble beginnings in a small town located in Brooks, Oregon. In 2007 my parents accomplished their long sought-after dream of opening their own business by establishing Chang Family Farm. Ever since then my parents have dedicated themselves to provide fresh, local produce to their community through farmers markets in Oregon, and have continued to do so for the past 13 years. Along with produce, Chang Family Farm also grew a variety of flowers throughout the market season. From Daffodil’s in Spring, to Dahlia’s in Summer that would continue to grow until the frost arrived in the Fall. These flowers would be arranged into simple bouquets which would then be sold at the farmers markets. As Chang Family Farm’s presence grew within the farmers market, the demand for bouquet arrangements also increased. Due to this increased demand I was entrusted with the farms floral designs, and this is where my joy and passion with floristry began. I would eventually become the managing floral designer for Chang Family Farm, taking on events and orders both inside and outside of the farmers market.

How We Got Here?
In 2016 I moved to Minnesota. As family and friends here in Minnesota knew that I had experience in floristry they would request for my services occasionally for events. As these requests increased this reminded me of how much I enjoyed working with flowers, clients, and just in general how much happiness flowers can bring to people no matter their circumstances in life. As I continued to help family and friends with their floral needs, my sister recognized my passion for floristry, and asked if I had ever entertained the thought of opening my own floral shop. Although I was hesitant at first, I eventually grew to love the idea of being a floral boutique owner. Of course, the thought of starting a business on my own was challenging. So, in order to overcome the challenge, I asked my sister to join me as a partner on this business endeavor. She not only has a background in business but was also a tremendous creative force to recruit. Once she was on board, our path became clear and we began to move forward with our vision. In honor of our parents who gave our journey its beginning, we decided to name our ourselves after their business namesake, thus, Chang Family Floristry was born.
